Frank Kucharczyk
unknown

The Kucharczyk Family owned a hotel and bar in Parisville MI. which stood between a blacksmith and a pickle factory. They also owned a grocery store / gas station on the corner across the street. They had to name their business. Most people could never pronounce Kucharczyk, so the hotel, bar and grocery store became known as "Cook's Corner".

It is not know if the family legally changed their name or not, but all the children carry the surname Cook.

This information comes down through the Waurzyniak cousins with a liberal dose of being fascinated by the huge brine vats at the pickle factory, making horseshoe nail rings at the blacksmith, having fights with the cousins and skinny dipping. Never thought much about the last name; they were Cook.
